In July of 2005, we had our first Medieval Faire and the first
New York State all Gypsy Horse Show.
It was a fun weekend of Medieval demonstrations by
The Company of the Red Shield and The Shire of Glenn Linn.
There were Armored Combat Demos and Mounted Games of Skill and Combat.
Over 200 people attended the Medieval Faire and
we have had many requests to do it all again.
The Gypsy Horse Show was a day of fun and friendship.
So many beautiful Gypsy horses were in attendance and
brought oohs and ahhs from the general public.
People came from all over to see these magnificent horses.
Free Ice Cream was served courtesy of Stewart's Ice Cream!
Don Chandler, Chandler's Farrier Service from Pawlett, Vermont, did a
shoeing demonstration using our Gypsy, April Love Hawke .
Psychic/Medium/Hypnotist, Jennie Thompson had private readings for all that attended.
Tony DeCosta of Horses in Motion Photography was our Equine Photographer.
Cheshire Horse Tack Shop of Saratoga brought their
mobile tack shop to the weekend event as well as many others
who participated in the vendors area.
All the horses received treats compliments of Mrs. Pasture's Horse Treats.
It was an amazing weekend and we hope to be able to do it all again in the near future.
